A huge public park in the center of Islamorada, Founders Park has a marina, boat ramps, beach, baseball fields, olympic pool, and a skate park. On the Bayside in Islamorada Founders Park is famous for sunsets and even has a dog park.

Dudley Farm State Park, Newberry

The Dudley Farm is a great way to spend the day outdoors in Newberry (just outside Gainesville). The farm was an authentic working farm from about 1880 to 1930 where syrup is still produced from sugar cane.

Jock Leighton Park

Palm City

Jock Leighton Park in Palm City has fields for soccer, football, and lacrosse. There is also a full skate park, playground, and several pavillions. The park is located at 3755 SW Mapp Road in Palm City.
