I Like It Hot Festival

Largo

The I Like It Hot Festival is the largest spicy food event in the state of Florida. The event will take place in Largo, FL on September 9 - 10, 2017. In addition to being able to sample and purchase spicy food and sauces, there are also contests to enter:  Amateur Salsa, Amateur Hot Sauce, and Pepper Eating. There will also be a variety of hot pepper plants to purchase, and live music for your listening pleasure.

The 28th Annual Lobster Festival and Tournament is set to take place at Schooners in Panama City, ‘the Last Local Beach Club’, on September 11 - 17, 2017. This 7-day event is know through out the state of Florida as the largest lobster event, and draws thousands of divers and lobster-lovers from all over the Southeast.

Smokin’ Pig Fest

September 15 , 2017 to September 16, 2017

Lake City

The 9th Annual Smokin’ Pig Fest, sanctioned by FBA and a Jack Daniels Qualifier, will be held on September 15 - 16 at Columbia County Fairgrounds. Four categories will be in play:  Chicken, ribs, pork and brisket, with $14,000 plus in prize money on the line. $2,500 goes to the Grand Champion.

Pensacola Seafood Festival
