The Space Coast aviation community invites friends and neighbors to attend the Valkaria Air Fest on Saturday, February 18 starting at 8 am. Come see up close ultralight aircraft, home built aircraft, vintage, and military aircraft.

Times: Main activities will take place from 8 am to 5 pm with night air show beginning at 6 pm.

Admission: Adults: $10 at gate, Kids under 7 are free.

The Valkaria Airport (X59) will host this Air Show which is organized by the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1288 in Valkaria.
The tickets will be:
Adults are $10 at gate
Youth under 7 are free.
2012 Theme is “Rides, Rides, Rides!” Visitors will have the opportunity to ride in an open cockpit biplane, aerobatic, glider, helicopter, powered parachute, hot air balloon, Cessna, and gyrocopter!! Also, if you are brave enough, you can ride upside down in an aerobatic aircraft. Live music group “All about Nothing” will play after the Twilight Air show followed by fireworks!
7 am - Powered Paraglider & Parachute Fly-In
8 am - Pancake Breakfast until 11 am by EAA Chapter 1288
8 am - Gates open for General Admission, RC Aircraft aloft
8:30 am - Formation flying and incoming aircraft
10 am - History Hangar presentations begin
10:30 am - Airboat Velocity Demonstration on Dry Ground
11 am - Live Music and Food Vendors all day
12 pm - NASA Astronaut Winston Scott - photos & autographs
12:30 pm - “Valkaria Bob” Bi-Plane Wing Walking
1 pm - First Air Show begins going until 4 pm
4 pm - Live Music from ‘All About Nothing’
4:15 pm - Powered Paraglider & Parachute flying
5:45 pm - Twilight Air Show begins
6:30 pm - Hot Air Balloon Glow
6:35 pm - Evening Rocket Launch
6:40 pm - Live Music from ‘All About Nothing’
7:45 pm - Evening Fireworks to end the day
