The 23rd Annual Sights and Sounds on Second Christmas Festival will begin at 1:00 pm on Orange Avenue and North Second Street in Historic Downtown Fort Pierce. Activities during the Sights and Sounds Festival include entertainment by community groups, the official grand entrance of Santa Claus by fire engine at 1:30pm, children’s crafts, games, balloon bounce houses, pony rides, arts and craft vendors, food vendors, and much more.
Sights and Sounds Parade
The Christmas Parade starts at 4:30 pm. The parade begins at Tickle Tummy Hill on North Second Street continues along Avenue A, Indian River Drive, and Orange Avenue. It is sponsored by the Fort Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis.
Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Light Ceremony
Immediately following the Christmas Parade will be the lighting of the City of Fort Pierce’s Community Christmas Tree located at the Avenue A and Indian River Drive Roundabout. Our Mayor and Santa Claus will need everybody’s help to illuminate the 28 foot tree.
This is always a wonderful hometown celebration to kick off the holiday season.
