Stroll through the many beautifully decorated trees and wreaths at the World Golf Village while enjoying sights and sounds of the holidays all while benefiting two special local charities from December 2- 11, 2011.

The St Johns County Festival of Trees at World Golf Village in St Augustine
This popular 7th annual event is free and kick-off begins on Friday Dec. 2 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the World Golf Village in St Augustine. Visit with Santa, cookie decorating, musical performances and more! Groups, families, and businesses are invited to decorate a tree and display it for the public. Check website for details regarding festival regulations. Event will be open daily from 9am - 9pm and from 9am - 3pm the final day, Sunday,December 11. Take part in the silent auction and bid on your favorite tree or wreath.
Category Awards for Trees
The trees and wreaths in the show will be judged in the following categories.
Best of Show: The best of the Festival selected from all trees displayed as voted on by the public.
Through a Child’s Eyes: The best representation of the spirit of the season as seen through the eyes of a child.
Handcrafted with Heart: The trees will be decorated with handmade designs.

Most Money Raised: The tree that raises the most money for the charities from a combination of silent auction bids and public votes. Honorable Mentions will also be given to second and third place trees in this category.
Nature’s Beauty: The tree inspired by the great outdoors.
Non-Traditional Theme: Designers will use their imagination to create a tree that is “out of the box” and unique.
Spirit of the Festival: Awarded to the team that captures the spirit of St. Johns County.
Traditional Holiday Tree: Awarded to the wreath best decorated with traditional holiday decorations.
