Visit the seasonally decorated winter homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford in Fort Myers in the evenings from 5:30 pm to 9pm, December 2 through December 31.

Admission: Admission for a self-guided tour is adults $15, students 13- college $8.00, children 6-12 $1, 5 and under FREE.. Historic guided tours are $20 for adults and $1 for children ages 6 - 12.

The Estates holiday tradition continues for the 36th year with “Edison and Ford Holiday Nights.” annual event. The winter homes will be decorated with antique toys from the 1920’s and 1930’s. The Edison Botanic Lab and Estates Museum will be open every evening with special exhibits as well as nightly holiday performances by area students and groups. Refreshments available for purchase at the Estates Banyan Cafe’. Visitors have an option of choosing self- guided or guided tours.
Artwork of Florence Sansom, Megan Kissinger, and Buell Lee Whitehead, as well as elements of Old Florida Christmas will be displayed in the “Creative Cottage”. Traditional Florida foods available for tasting and purchase in Edison’s Caretakers House. Families will enjoy Santa visits, horse and wagon rides, and the “Children’s Tree Trail” The “Trail”, free to the public, is a lighted pathway of trees decorated with handmade ornaments from Lee County students.
Hours: Open year -round (except for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day) 7 days a week 9 am to 5:30 pm. December open till 9 pm.
