Celebrate the holidays at the Deering Estate with an exciting line-up of events for the entire family to enjoy!
Schedule of Events - Deering Holiday Wonderland
Friday, December 2, 2011 7:00- 9:00 pm: “Tree Lighting Ceremony”
Enjoy some of your favorite holiday music in the courtyard! Children can also participate in the lighting of the tree in the historic Stone House Ballroom. $12 for adults and $7 for children (ages 4-14).
Saturday, December 10 & 17, 2011 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: “Santa Story-time and Kids Crafts”
Santa Claus will be visiting the Estate for story-time in the historic Stone House Ballroom. Free with Estate admission: $12 for adults and $7 for children (ages 4-14).
Sunday, December 18, 2011 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: “Holiday Bay Cruise”
For those who want to unwind, take a relaxing Bay Cruise! $35 per person. Space is limited. Reservations are required.
December 1 – 31, 20101 10:00 am – 5:00 pm: “Deering Holiday Wonderland”
Guests can tour the historic houses and grounds that are decorated for the holidays. Decorations are created by the District XII Garden Clubs. The holiday decorating effort is an annual tradition and is a special project of the District XII Garden Clubs, which includes 26 branches in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Free with Estate admission: $12 for adults and $7 for children (ages 4-14).
