Stuart Middle School is an “A” rated school located in northern Stuart Florida. Known as the home of the Jaguars, the Martin County middle school promotes ideals of respect, organization, appearance and responsibility for its 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The student population is approximately 1,200.

Stuart Middle School has been “A” rated every year since 2000. It is also well known for its outstanding music department. In 2007-08, the school earned Superior ratings for its Jazz, Symphonic and Concert bands at the district Musical Performance Assessments. Stuart Middle School bands entertain the community at many local events throughout the year.
In addition to band, the Stuart Middle School offers a variety of extracurricular activities for its students such as Art Club, Writer’s Club, Builders Club, Student Council, Cheerleading, FFA/Greenschool, Jaguarettes Dance Team, National Junior Honor Society, Crime Watch Club and Graphic Design Club.
