Many of the kids are playing lacrosse for the first time. Lacrosse is a fast moving action packed sport that gives the kids great exercise and teaches them teamwork.
Boys Lacrosse
Boys lacrosse is a full contact sport. Players wear a helmet, padded gloves, elbow pads, and a combination shoulder pads chest protector. The boys league starts at first grade and goes up to high school.
Girls Lacrosse
Girls lacrosse is different than the boys in that there is no contact and the girls do not wear all the protective gear. They do wear eye protection.
