The Miami Heat have had many great players in their history including Glen Rice, Rony Seikaly, Alonzo Mourning, Tim Hardaway, Brian Grant, Dwayne Wade, Shaquille Oneal, Jason Williams, Michael Beasley, Udonis Haslem, and Mario Chalmers.

The Miami Heat won the NBA championship in the 2005 - 2006 season and 2011 - 2012. The stars of the 2005 - 2006 team were Dwayne Wade, Shaquille Oneal, Jason Williams, Antoine Walker, and Udonis Haslem. The team was coached by NBA veteran coach Pat Riley.

The 2012 Miami Heat Championship team featured the Big Three - Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. James and Bosh joined the team in the 2010 season and won their first title in their second year together.

The 2012 NBA finals were between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder featuring Kevin Durant, Russel Westbrook, and James Harden.

The Heat beat the Thunder in 5 games winning game 2 in Oklahoma and games 3, 4, and 5 in Miami.

Attending a Heat Game

If you plan on attending a Miami Heat Game then consider arriving a little early and heading over to Bayside. Bayside is right next door to the American Airlines Arena.

There are several parking lots across from the Arena on Biscayne Blvd and parking ranges from $30 directly across from the arena down to $15 a few blocks away.
