If you have dreamed of riding a horse on a beautiful beach then head for Ponte Vedra. Micklers Landing is the main public beach in Ponte Vedra and the place where Sawgrass Stables will take you horseback riding right on the Beach.

Based in St Augutine, Sawgrass Stables will take up to four riders for an hour ride right on the beach in Ponte Vedra. We recently spoke with June - who runs the stables - and she gave us a few details.
Summer Riding
During the summer it’s best to schedule your horseback riding in the morning to avoid the afternoon thunderstorms. It’s also cooler in the morning, which makes for a more pleasant ride.
Sawgrass Stables charges $80 per person for an hour ride and you should contact them at least 2 days in advance to book your ride.
