On the northern edge of Orlando almost on the border of Winter Park is Dubsdread Public Golf course.
The course is just minutes from downtown Orlando and features an 18-hole course that is a relatively short 6,055 yards and a great restaurant.

As a public golf course run by the City of Orlando Dubsdread is an affordable place to play golf. And the location is away from much of the hustle of downtown Orlando so it’s convenient to get in and out of.

Orlando residents can play a round for $19 from 1 PM until closing and for $27 in the morning. Carts are $8 in the afternoon and $10 in the morning. And junior golfers (under 17) can play for $13. You must present a valid drivers license with an Orlando address to get the Orlando resident prices.
Reservations for a round of golf can be scheduled 7 days in advance and 10 days in advance if you are a Dubsdread member.

Membership at Dubsdread means you can play all year without paying other fees.
There are 7 day memberships, which allow you to play on any day and there are weekday only memberships, which costs less. And you can decided if you want a walking or riding (you get a golf cart) as part of your membership.

Dubsdread has a golf learning center that offers group courses called Fairways and Greens, The Junior Golf Academy, and private lessons.
Dubsdread is unique in that you can host your own golf tournament. If you want to have a small event or a larger tournament consider planning it at Dubsdread. The proximity to downtown Orlando and all the Orlando theme parks makes it a great location. And in addition to the golf course the Tap Room Ballroom and Catering on site at Dubsdread has excellent food and plenty of room for events.
The Tap Room is both a great restaurant and an excellent location for parties and weddings. Stop by for lunch and try it out. The Inside Florida team ate at the Tap Room twice during a recent stay in Orlando. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch. The food was excellent and the setting is really relaxing.
