There are several access points to the beach.
Crescent Beach is unique compared to many beaches in Florida because you are allowed to drive your car on the beach. There are designated lanes for cars and all traffic flows to the south. The cost per car for beach access is $6 per day.
Crescent Beach is a nice wide beach, thus the cars are usually not an impediment in any way. Only at high tide does it become a little bit crowded with cars and beachcombers.
The Police patrol Crescent Beach regularly on ATV’s and trucks. The patrol is mainly for enforcing the 10 MPH speed limit and the no alcohol rule.
Feel free to bring your dog to Crescent Beach. Just make sure you have him on a leash, or the Beach Patrol will issue you a citation.
