Insider Tip
Fishing Charter Discount Rate - if you don’t mind meeting new people, then taking the group fishing charter aboard Miss Islamorada is the best rate.  This 65-foot deep sea fishing vessel holds up to 45 people but there’s typically only 10 to 20 people on each charter.  At only $60 per person, it’s a great deal to get out and do some fishing.  But if you prefer a more personalized experience and instruction, then consider booking a private fishing charter with your own back country guide which ranges $300 to $500 for two people a day at Bud n Mary’s Marina.  The bigger fish are caught offshore with bigger boats and more costs.  The private offshore fishing guides and boats ranging from 27 feet to 54 feet, cost $600 to $1,400.

Rental Rooms

Bud and Mary’s offers motel rooms, penthouse, tackle shop efficiency, house boat, and beach houses for rent. Most of the rentals have full kitchens or refrigerators.  They all have air conditioning and TVs.

The deep sea fishing charter supplies all the fishing gear to catch snapper, grouper, yellowtail, kingfish, dolphin, sharks, tuna, amberjacks, cobia, and wahoo.

Fishing Charters and Boat Rentals

At the marina, you can rent a boat for the day, a few days or weekly.  You can go snorkeling, diving, fishing, or hangout at the sand bars. It’s only 1 mile to backcountry fishing and 3 miles to offshore deep sea fishing.

With more than 40 fishing guides at Bud and Mary’s Sportfishing Marina, you can go backcountry fishing to the bay side to catch bonefish, tarpon, permit, and snook.  If you want to go offshore to the Atlantic Ocean’s open blue waters, you’ll have fun reeling in the big fish - sailfish, marlin, tuna, dolphin, wahoo, and shark.
