The Bay Hill Course

The Bay Hill Golf Course is considered tough but fair.  It’s been called one of the toughest golf courses you can play.  Unlike many golf resorts, Bay Hill does not have multiple golf courses, it has just one designed by the master Arnold Palmer.

Each hole on the Bay Hill Golf Course has 5 sets of tees; Palmer, Shootout, Championship, Mens and Ladies. The holes range from short (145 yards) to long (447 yards).

The course is characterized by lots of water. Lakes and lagoons are everywhere and in many cases you will be shooting over water or have water down the right or left side of the fairways.

Notable Holes at Bay Hill

The 6th hole is an extreme dogleg with water down the entire left side. The fairway narrows as you approach the tee. It is a par 5 of about 500 yards.

The 7th hole is Bay Hills easiest par 3 and has a two tiered green.

The 8th hole starts with long straight fairway and then takes a strong right leading up to the green, which is protected by a large lake and backed by three large bunkers.

The 11th hole is 385 yards and includes a large lake down the left side of the green.

At 325 yards, the 13th hole is the shortest par 4 at Bay Hill and has a lake in front of green.

To get to the green at the 16th hole you will have to shoot over water and cover 446 yards on this par 5.
