St Lucie County has had enormous growth in recent years and as of 2007 had a county wide population of over 271,000. Located on the east coast of Florida, St Lucie County includes the cities of Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and St. Lucie Village.
St Lucie County is a small county along Florida’s east coast. It is located on the Treasure Coast between Indian River County (to the north side) and Martin County (to the south side.)

Waveland beach is on Hutchinson Island at 10350 South A1A. There are lifeguards on duty at this beach all year, bathrooms, showers, and vending machines.
Florida has great natural scenery and the Indian River Lagoon is a perfect example. There are two Indian Lagoon scenic highways our focus is on Indian River Drive (highway 707) - an official Florida Scenic Highway that runs from Jensen Beach in the south along the Indian River Lagoon into downtown Fort Pierce in the north.
The St Lucie Medical Center is the main hospital in Port St Lucie Florida. The hospital is located at 1800 SE Tiffany Avenue. This Port St Lucie Hospital has an emergency room and also offers Fast Track Services between 10am and 10pm.
For excellent music and Broadway shows the Sunrise Theater in Fort Pierce is the place in St Lucie County. Located in the heart of downtown Fort Pierce The Sunrise Theater is the center of entertainment for the area.
