Hillsborough County is located on the west coast of Florida and includes the cities of Tampa, Plant City, and Temple Terrace. There is a large unincorporated area that includes such towns as Apollo Beach, Temple Terrace, Lutz, Town and Country, West Park, and others.
The population of Hillsborough County Florida is 1,229,226 as of 2010, which makes it the fourth most populated county after Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
The Hillsborough County Library Cooperative is a combination of the Tampa - Hillsborough County Public Library System, Bruton Memorial Library in Plant City, and the Temple Terrace Public Library. There are 30 library locations in Hillsborough County including the book mobile.
