The Billfish Challenge takes place every February from 3 inlets - Government Cut in Miami, Hillsboro Inlet in Pompano Beach, and Lake Worth Inlet in Palm Beach. The fish caught for this tournament can be sailfish, white marlin, blue marlin, dolphin, wahoo, and kingfish. The kickoff party takes place at the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum in Dania Beach FL and the awards party will be held at Blue Moon Fish Co. in Lauderdale by the Sea, FL
