Summer campers have fun learning about endangered sea turtles, marine life, and take trips to the beach at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach Florida. The summer camp program called the Jr. Marine Biologist has weekly themes geared for students entering Grades 2 - 12.

Camp Pricing: 1 week camp is $195 for members and $245 for non-members. Sibling/multiple week discounts available.

Camp hours are 9:00 am to 4:00pm, late bird pick up is up to 5:00 pm.

Turtle Adventures: Ages 7 - 10, Ages 11 - 14
Description - Discover the biology, habitats and threats of the different species of sea turtles found in Florida. The camp will also teach about conservation efforts and what we can do to help save the sea turtles.

Description - Learn about the prehistoric creatures that roamed and pirates that sailed historic Florida. Explore the shoreline, dry land, plants, and animals that make Florida their home. Activities include birdwatching, scavenger hunts, fossil digs, and experiments.
Field Experience: Ages 15 - 17
August 6 - 10, 2012
Description - This is not your traditional camp experience. Campers spend a week learning about designing experiments, sea turtle research and learning about teamwork and public speaking. Activities include snorkeling, seining for fish, dissections, experiments and more.
