Camp Type: Sleepaway Camp
The summer campers will go horseback riding, swimming, arts and crafts, kayaking, and enjoy animals. With a 4 to 1 camper counselor ratio, most campers spend 4-5 hours a day with their horse. They train in several different riding styles as well as show jumping, dressage and cross country. The late afternoon is a time for extra fun rids, games, trail riding and swimming.
Age Range: Ages 7-17 years old.
2010 Pricing: $950 for a weekly session.
Camp Overview:
Week long, overnight camp sessions with cabins attached to the barn so summer campers can eat, breathe and sleep by their horse. Campers can bring their own horse (or catch one of ours.) Open to all levels: beginner to advanced, ages 7-17.
Clinics in dressage, stadium jumping, cross country, hunter-jumpers, horse and barn management, braiding, grooming to show, importance of good nutrition, and good farrier work.
Hundreds of trail acres in the Goethe State Forest, field trips, and more. Demonstration and end of camp costume show. Top-notch training in a non-competitive environment.

Camp Staff: All counselors must be at least 18 years old and have completed at least one year of college studies. They get a background check as well as go through extensive counselor training. Directors and trainers all have 10+ years experience each.
