Camp Type: Day Camp
At Alexander Summer Camp daily activities are designed to help develop skills while promoting safety and fun. There is a daily mix of relaxed indoor and high energy outdoor fun. All activities have shaded areas. Camp is open to children ages 1 1/2 - 12 years, activities are scheduled from 30 minutes to 2 hours in length depending on the activity and the age of the campers.
Summer Camp Outdoor Activities: Outdoor activities at Alexander Camp include electric go-karts, archery, bb gun riflery, moonwalk, tennis, cookouts, tennis, sky ride (a ski chair lift cable that goes downhill), daily swimming with certified swim instructors, and team sports including flag football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, gatorball, and softball.
Summer Camp Indoor Activities: Some of the indoor activities include arts and crafts, ceramics, movies, video games, turtles (a sit down roller skate scooter), dance and aerobics, and field trips.
2011 Alexander Summer Camp Pricing:
Elementary ages 6 to 12 years old is $250 per week (extended day is an extra fee.)
Pre-school ages 3 to 6 years old has full day and ½ day available (1/2 day = $195 per week, and full day is $240 per week.) There’s an extra charge for extended day.
Pre-Camp / Post- Camp fun weeks: June 14 - 18 and August 16 - 20, Fee: $205
Camp Dates: Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm (early arrival is from 8 am and extended day is until 6 pm.)
